Taj Mahal

There are no words to describe the exact way in which your breath is taken away from you when you first see the Taj Mahal in person. I thought I was prepared - I really did. I wasn't.

The very first view of the Taj as you enter through the South Gate.

  1. I had the same experience. Nothing compares and no picture does it justice. I actually cried. It's one of the world's most single recognizable monuments and to see it in person after all of those years of wanting to be there...it was so surreal! Did you cry? You're like me, I have a feeling you did.
My comment actually refers to the lack of husband pictures and comments thus far. Did you leave him for one of those hot skinny locals in the high waisted bell bottom pants straight outta saturday night fever? One of the men we would call a 'mondrian' man? :)
